Hunt Investment Group
McCall Cravens is senior vice president and chief investment officer for Hunt Investment Group. In this role, she oversees investment activity for the company, including management of allocations to alternative investments and other key partnerships and relationships.
Previously, Cravens served as SMU's managing director of investments in the endowment office where she was responsible for overseeing and making recommendations regarding outside managers in all asset classes, including long-only equity, fixed income and credit, diversifying strategies, private equity, venture capital, real estate, energy, and timberland. Prior to joining SMU, McCall worked as an investment professional for several private equity funds, including Pamlico Capital and Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners. She also served as an analyst in the M&A investment banking group at Wachovia.
Cravens has been recognized by Trusted Insight as one of the "Top 30 Women Chief Investment Officers" and one of the "Top 30 Most Influential Women in University Endowments," as well as received recognition as one of the top "Forty Under Forty" by ai-CIO. She also serves on the investment committee of the Dallas Women's Foundation.
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of science degree in engineering science, as well as a degree in economics from Vanderbilt University where she graduated summa cum laude.
